We may collect and process “personal data” as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998. We utilise such data on clients and suppliers in the provision of our services. We often receive these data from third parties – for example, members of networking groups, Business Link. All personal data are processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Part of our compliance with the legislation is the registration of the purposes for which we process data with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) – the “Notification”. This Notification is available on the Public Register of Data Controllers at www.ico.gov.uk . We may share data with third parties as part of our services and/or if we are required to do so by UK law. “Third parties” in this context may include – but is not exclusive to – hosting companies, domain name providers. We cannot accept liability for any processing conducted by any third party outside our remit. None of the above affects your rights of access to personal data we may hold on you. All requests must be made in writing – email is acceptable – to S Hawkins at the company. Please note that we may charge a £10 administrative fee for such a request – this fee is payable in advance and is non-refundable. |
